Americans for Prosperity, founded by the Koch network, recently announced that they will start campaigning online and through direct-mail in support of the Nov. 6 ballot initiative in Louisiana to eliminate split verdicts. Here is a link to their recent ad.
As some are aware, Louisiana and Oregon are the only 2 jurisdictions in the country that allow for non-unanimous jury verdicts in criminal trials. The effort to reform Louisiana's jury system has received bipartisan support from a wide range of groups and individuals both conservative and liberal.
