For those unfamiliar with the Ohio Jury Management Association (OJMA), it developed from a Fellows Class project of the Ohio State Bar Foundation ("OSBF"). In 1998, the Fellows Class brought together speakers and experts from across the state and held the first Ohio Jury Conference in 1999. Following the successful conference, the participants decided to continue with their mission by creating OJMA in 2000. This year's conference, which focuses on "Courtroom Economy," will be held April 23-24 in Dublin, Ohio. I note that Paula Hannaford-Agor of the National Center for State Courts is scheduled to speak.
